Finding cost effective solutions for therapeutic support can be hard. You are not alone. Our programs can help!
The path to parenthood is often very different than you might have expected. Sometimes it’s hard to connect with your baby, your emotions feel foreign, your brain is spinning, or your body is unrested. You are not alone. Take a look at our Perinatal Support & Education groups, and our free therapy program for NICU parents through Overland Park Regional Hospital below and get plugged in to a community that gets you.
Low-cost Perinatal Support & Education Groups
Our groups are a cost-effective option to receive professional support and connect with other women in similar circumstances by learning and growing in a group format. They are led by Tiffany Kann, LMSW. Many women find it has been a great complement or transition from the individual therapy process as they move through recovery.
How it works:
Groups are kept small (maximum 5 participants per cycle) in order to foster relationships.
Groups meet every other week for 8 sessions.
Each participant has been screened for readiness by Centimano therapists.
Each 1.5-hour session is $60/session for a total of $480 for the 8-session group. Yes, we offer payment plans. Inquire about payment plan.
Our free NICU Services to families at Overland Park Regional Medical Center
If your baby is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Overland Park Regional Hospital Centimano Counseling has a partnership with OPR to provide free therapy sessions to NICU families. Reach out to the social worker on the floor to inquire.
Are you a current or past NICU parent who would like more support? Parents whose babies come early and/or who have medical complexities face a unique set of challenges—both logistical and emotional. We are here for you as you navigate this hard time in your family.
If you are a hospital in the Kansas City metro who would like to connect with us about partnering to provide free therapy to your NICU families, please email Meeka.
