Kim Hawley is dedicated to serving pregnant, postpartum and adoptive parents, plus their support systems, in Kansas and Missouri and beyond. She believes every family deserves support throughout the perinatal years, no matter their circumstances. She specializes in support for perinatal mood disorders, including perinatal OCD, loss of all kinds, medical complexities, and NICU stays.
Kim is the founder and president of Whole Parent Foundation (501(c)(3), a nonprofit dedicated to free parental support for KC parents. She founded Strength Through Story in 2020, an online support group that focused on healing through storytelling. She serves as the Postpartum Support International (PSI) State Lead Coordinator for Missouri and is a Nonprofit State Policy Fellow with the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health. Kim has spoken about parental mental health for organizations including Parents as Teachers, Mental Health KC, St. Luke's Health System and the Missouri Hospital Association.
Kim completed her master’s in social work at The University of Michigan. She has received certification from Postpartum Support International in support group facilitation, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), and perinatal mental health care. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker pursuing clinical licensure under the supervision of Meeka Centimano (KS Lic. #3830).
